Dr. Laura Bond
DVM
Dr. Bond grew up on a hobby farm in Nova Scotia and always knew she wanted to work with animals. She worked at Hope for Wildlife Rehabilitation Center before studying Wildlife Biology at the University of Guelph.
Dr. Bond went on to complete her veterinary degree at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland and returned to Canada in 2016 to work in general practice and emergency medicine in the Niagara and Hamilton regions before joining us in Burlington.
Dr. Bond is an avid traveller and naturalist, spending extensive time in different countries in search of birds, bugs, snakes and more.
She currently lives in Hamilton with her husband and cat, Cendra. Dr. Bond tells us, "I am happy to be a part of the BVERH team and working in emergency medicine full time!"
